Section 137

一八三六年一月二十一日，在俄亥俄，嘉德蘭聖殿內，給先知約瑟 • 斯密的異象〔教會史，2:380–381〕。當時他們正執行那時所啟示給他們的恩道門教儀。

A vision given to Joseph Smith the Prophet, in the temple at Kirtland, Ohio, 21 January 1836 (see History of the Church,2:380–81). The occasion was the administration of the ordinances of the endowment as far as they had then been revealed.

1–6，先知見到他哥哥奧文在高榮國度；7–9，啟示了為死者救恩的教義；10，所有的小孩都在高榮國度中得救。

1–6, The Prophet sees his brother Alvin in the celestial kingdom; 7–9, The doctrine of salvation for the dead is revealed; 10, All children are saved in the celestial kingdom.

1 ^ａ諸天向我們打開，我看見神的^ｂ高榮國度和那國度的榮耀，是在^ｃ身內或在身外，我不知道。

1 The ^aheavens were ^bopened upon us, and I beheld the ^ccelestialkingdom of God, and the glory thereof, whether in the ^dbody or out I cannot tell.

2 我見到那國度的繼承者要進入的^ａ門美麗非凡，那門好像環繞的^ｂ火焰；

2 I saw the transcendent ^abeauty of the ^bgate through which the heirs of that kingdom will enter, which was ^clike unto ^dcirclingflames of fire;

3 也見到神^ａ發光的寶座，^ｂ父與^ｃ子坐在那上面。

3 Also the ^ablazing ^bthrone of God, whereon was seated the^cFather and the ^dSon.

4 我見到那國度美麗的街道，看起來好像用^ａ黃金鋪的一樣。

4 I saw the beautiful streets of that kingdom, which had the appearance of being paved with ^agold.

5 我見到先祖^ａ亞當和^ｂ亞伯拉罕、我的^ｃ父親和^ｄ母親，和我那早已睡了的哥哥^ｅ奧文；

5 I saw Father ^aAdam and ^bAbraham; and my ^cfather and my mother; my brother ^dAlvin, that has long since ^eslept;

6 令我驚奇的是，他怎麼也在那國度獲得^ａ繼承產業，因為他在主著手^ｂ第二次聚集以色列之前就已離開今生，並且尚未接受赦罪的^ｃ洗禮。

6 And ^amarveled how it was that he had obtained an ^binheritancein that kingdom, seeing that he had departed this life before the Lord had set his hand to ^cgather Israel the second time, and had not been ^dbaptized for the remission of sins.

7 於是主的^ａ聲音臨到我，說：^ｂ沒有認識這福音就死去的人，若他們被允許留在世上就會接受福音的，必成為神^ｃ高榮國度的^ｄ繼承人；

7 Thus came the ^avoice of the Lord unto me, saying: All who have died ^bwithout a knowledge of this gospel, who would have received it if they had been permitted to tarry, shall be ^cheirs of the celestial kingdom of God;

8 還有，所有今後沒有認識福音就死去的人，若他們有可能就^ａ會全心接受福音的，也必成為那國度的繼承人；

8 Also all that shall die henceforth without a knowledge of it, who ^awould have received it with all their hearts, shall be heirs of that kingdom;

9 因為我，主，會按全人類的^ａ行為，按他們心中的^ｂ渴望，^ｃ審判他們。

9 For I, the Lord, will ^ajudge all men according to their ^bworks, according to the ^cdesire of their hearts.

10 而且我也看見：所有未達^ａ負責年齡就死去的小孩，都在天上的高榮國度中^ｂ得救。

10 And I also beheld that all ^achildren who die before they arrive at the ^byears of accountability are ^csaved in the celestial kingdom of heaven.
