1–4, Jared Carter is called to preach the gospel by the Comforter.

1 我實在告訴你，這是我的旨意，我僕人雅列 • 卡特要再去東部地區，藉著他被按立的^ａ按立能力，從一地到一地、從一城到一城，傳播大喜的信息，即永久的福音。

1 Verily I say unto you, that it is my will that my servant Jared Carter should go again into the eastern countries, from place to place, and from city to city, in the power of the ^aordinationwherewith he has been ordained, proclaiming glad tidings of great joy, even the ^beverlasting gospel.

2 我要派^ａ保惠師給他，保惠師會教他真理和他當行的路；

2 And I will send upon him the ^aComforter, which shall teach him the truth and the ^bway whither he shall go;

3 只要他忠信，我必再為他冠以禾捆。

3 And inasmuch as he is faithful, I will crown him again with^asheaves.

4 因此，我僕人雅列 • 卡特，你的心要高興，^ａ不要害怕，你的主，即耶穌基督說。阿們。

4 Wherefore, let your heart be glad, my servant Jared Carter, and^afear not, saith your Lord, even Jesus Christ. Amen.
