Chapter 25：Aaron Teaches King Lamoni’s Father

英文影片	The Spirit guided Aaron and his companions to the land of Nephi to teach Lamoni’s father, the king over all the Lamanites. Aaron told the king he was Ammon’s brother. The king had been thinking about Ammon’s kindness and about what Ammon had said to him. Aaron asked the king if he believed in God. The king said he wasn’t sure but said he would believe if Aaron said God exists. Aaron assured the king that God lives. Aaron read the scriptures to the king. He taught him about the earth’s Creation, Adam’s Fall, and Jesus Christ’s mission. The king asked what he needed to do to have the Holy Ghost and be ready to live with God. The king was willing to do anything, even give up his kingdom. Aaron told the king he needed to fully repent of his sins. He needed to pray and have faith in God. The king prayed to know if there really is a God. He said he would give up all his sins. The king fell to the ground and appeared to be dead. When the queen saw him, she thought Aaron and his companions had killed him. The queen ordered her servants to kill Aaron and his companions, but the servants were afraid to. She sent them to find other people who would do it. Before a large crowd could gather and cause trouble, Aaron took the king’s hand and told him to stand. The king stood. The king calmed his frightened wife and servants and then taught them the gospel. They all believed in Jesus Christ.

第 1 格

	Aaron told the king he was Ammon’s brother.
	亞倫告訴國王他是艾蒙的哥哥。

	國王想到了艾蒙的仁慈和他所講的話。

第 3 格
	Aaron asked the king if he believed in God.
	亞倫問國王相不相信有神，
	The king said he wasn’t sure but said he would believe if Aaron said God exists.
	國王說他不確定；可是他說，如果亞倫說有神存在，那麼他便相信。
	Aaron assured the king that God lives.
	亞倫對國王說，神真的是活著的。

第 4 格
	Aaron read the scriptures to the king.
	亞倫讀經文給國王聽，
	He taught him about the earth’s Creation, Adam’s Fall, and Jesus Christ’s mission.
	教導國王有關世界的創造、亞當的墜落，以及耶穌基督的使命等等事情。

第 5 格
	The king asked what he needed to do to have the Holy Ghost and be ready to live with God.
	國王問他要怎樣做才能擁有聖靈，並準備好與神同住。
	The king was willing to do anything, even give up his kingdom.
	為了能達成這些願望，國王願意做任何事，甚至放棄他的王國。

第 6 格
	Aaron told the king he needed to fully repent of his sins.
	亞倫告訴國王，他必須完全悔改他的罪；
	He needed to pray and have faith in God.
	他必須祈禱、並對神有信心。

第 7 格
	The king prayed to know if there really is a God.
	國王跪下祈禱，想要知道是不是真的有位神，
	He said he would give up all his sins.
	他說他願拋棄一切的罪。

第 8 格
	The king fell to the ground and appeared to be dead.
	國王倒在地上，看起來好像已經死了一樣。
	When the queen saw him, she thought Aaron and his companions had killed him.
	王后看到時，以為亞倫和他的同伴殺死了國王。

第 9 格
	The queen ordered her servants to kill Aaron and his companions, but the servants were afraid to.
	王后命令僕人殺死亞倫和他的同伴，但僕人們不敢去。
	She sent them to find other people who would do it.
	於是王后叫他們找其他人來殺他們。

第 10 格
	Before a large crowd could gather and cause trouble, Aaron took the king’s hand and told him to stand.
	在群眾聚集、發生打鬥之前，亞倫拉著國王的手，並叫他站起來，
	The king stood.
	國王就站了起來。

第 11 格
	The king calmed his frightened wife and servants and then taught them the gospel.
	國王安撫了被嚇壞的妻子和僕人，並教導他們福音。
	They all believed in Jesus Christ.
	後來他們都相信了耶穌基督。
